How Do I Log In?
If you've purchased an online CDL course, pre-trip inspection video or study guide, you need to log in to your eGears account.
You can access your order by logging in here.
What Is My Username?
Your username is the email address you gave us when you placed an order.
How do I access my eGears online product?
When does the online course subscription become active?
Your 60-day access begins immediately after you complete the sign up process.
What is the difference between the pre-trip DVD and the online pre-trip course?
The pre-trip DVD is designed for commercial use, and is available for purchase under license. The online pre-trip course is designed for individuals, and is subscription based. You are given access to watch the pre-trip videos online for 60 days. When your subscription expires, you will no longer have access to these videos.
What is included on the DVD?
The pre-trip inspection DVD includes a full pre-trip inspection, including the 4 point brake check and in-cab inspection. CDL instructor Phil guides you through the inspection step by step. The DVD is also divided into chapters, so you can easily review individual sections.
Will the DVD work in my computer?
The pre-trip inspection DVD is designed to work in any DVD player or computer DVD drive. To watch the DVD on your computer, make sure you have also DVD player software installed.
What is a PDF?
A PDF is basically a document that you can easily download and print. You need a PDF reader like Adobe Acrobat Reader, which you can download for free.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and Paypal.
What happens when I place an online order?
If you provided a valid email address, you will receive a confirmation email with the details of your order. Orders placed after 3 PM will be processed the following business day. Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation and Fedex tracking number. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be shipped on the next business day.
How do I use a coupon code?
To use a coupon code with an online order, enter it in the coupon code box on the payment screen. Verify that you typed the code correctly and your order reflects the discounted total before finalizing the order. To use a coupon code by phone, be sure to mention it to your customer service representative before payment processing.
How long will it take to get my order?
eGears currently offers free overnight shipping to the continental US. Orders placed after 3PM will be processed the following business day.
Do you ship outside the US?
Yes, depending on country. Please call 1-866-753-6414 to place your order and verify we can ship to your intended country.
I have a problem with my order. What should I do?

Is my information secure using this site?
Yes, we use the latest technology to protect your information.
Can I place an order by phone?
Yes, if you prefer to order by phone, we can be reached Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM Eastern Standard time. If you cannot reach a representative immediately, please feel free to leave a message and your call will be returned promptly.
What if my billing and shipping addresses are different?
When entering your address, make sure that the billing address you enter matches the billing address associated with your credit card exactly. Any mismatches in information may cause your order to be delayed and a pending charge to be placed on your bank account. Your shipping address can be any address.

I subscribed to eGears but the videos won't work. What's wrong?
Make sure your internet connection is functioning properly, and you are using an updated internet browser such as Mozilla Firefox. If you continue to have issues with eGears that your internet service provider cannot solve, please contact us at 1-866-753-6414.
Do I need an internet connection to use the eGears pre-trip video online subscription?
Yes, the online subscription requires an internet connection for use. The videos reside on our computers, and your computer accesses them via your internet connection. If your internet connection is not working, you will not be able to reach the videos and watch them.
What is eGears?
eGears is a provider of online, interactive CDL training. We are a complete solution to help learn information, assess your retention of the knowledge and provide useful learning resources to reinforce the recently learned knowledge. eGears allows you to learn at your own pace on your own time.
How were these products developed?
The various products we offer were developed alongside industry experts and CDL instructors. They were based upon federal guidelines in the Commercial Driver's License manual set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Administration.
